My primary research interest lies in the area of aging and healthy longevity. My current research focuses onexploring the role and significance of mitochondrial structural and functional remodeling during organismal aging using cutting-edge microscopic techniques in conjugation with molecular and biochemical assays. During my Ph.D., I used multidisciplinary approaches from epidemiology, biostatistics, molecular and cellular biology, and bioinformatics to study the nature and biology of aging and investigated the impact of lifestyle factors including psychological, nutritional, and physical activity on cognitive health and frailty in elderly population.
